Since the beginning of the Balance Project a vast amount of background information has been collected regarding other societies, organisations, groups and projects that are working on the topic of women in engineering. Since then other activities have been found that, while not working solely on the topic of women in engineering, some part of their work is useful or simlar to the subject at hand.

These organisations, societies, groups and projects have been documented in the Initiatives Report (a PDF version can be found on the materials page) and those with web pages have been listed as a link under one of the categories below. Due to the large quantity found, they have been split into four areas of interest. Use the links below to see the table of links for each category.
