Athena UK Based in the United Kingdom the Athena Project aims to advance and promote women in science, engineering and technology in Higher Education. The project focuses on the senior managers and academics that are responsible for the organisational climate and the structures and processes which can encourage or deter women from participating in academic careers and progressing towards the top.

AWiSE - Association for Women in Science and Engineering

UK Based in the UK, the association's objectives are to promote SET for girls and women, acting as a forum, a network for mutual support, a collective voice and a centre of information and resource.
BFIY - British Female Inentor of the Year UK An annual award that aims to recognise and promote the success stories of women in the UK that have come through the challenges of turning an idea into reality.
Building Work for Women UK Partnership between employers, training providers and support organisations. Aim: to reach a wider, more diverse pool of people (address the skills shortage) through practical solutions and support. Also to address the barriers women face
Change the Face of Construction UK Change the face of construction provides "a network for the exchange of information, news and support through its detailed website, linking to other organisations, disseminating case studies, promoting good practice and initiating innovative programmes" Activities include three toolkits (recruitment, retention and customer satisfaction), mentoring schemes, career development lectures and training courses.
CWEST - Cornwall Women in Science, Engineering and Technology UK The aims of CWEST are: to interest and encourage girls and women in SET projects and careers, to assist teachers and provide mentors in schools, to provide help and experience for women returners into SET, to support women scientists and engineers in SW England and to network ideas, information and friendships in SET worldwide through email contacts.

Engender Scotland ENGENDER is an information, research and networking organisation for women in Scotland, working with other groups locally and internationally to improve women's lives and increase their power and influence.

PSETW - Promoting Science, Engineering and Technology for Women UK A government website used to attract and retain more girls into engineering as well as provide access to many statistics regarding women in SET.
WAMT - Women and Manual Trades UK WAMT is a membership-based organisation set up by a group of tradeswomen (1975) to: provide information, advice and support to women working in, training in or wishing to enter the construction industry, to raise the profile of women's participation in training and employment in trades where women are traditionally under represented and to help improve the conditions of training and employment in the trades
WES - Women's Engineering Society UK WES is a registered charity whose main aims are to promote the education of women in engineering and to advance the education of the public concerning the study and practice of engineering amongst women.
WHERE - Women in Higher Education Register UK WHERE is a web-based database containing information on women in SET.
WIA - Women in Architeucture UK Women in Architecture membership is open to all women architects.
WiC - Women into Computing UK Women into Computing (WiC) is a network of people committed to raising the profile of women in the computing and IT fields.
WiSE - Women into Science and Engineering UK WISE is a campaign not an organisation to encourage more girls and women to consider careers in engineering.
WiTEC - Women in Science, Engineering and Technology UK WiTEC is a well-established European network with co-ordinators in 12 European countries. The main head quarters are based in Sheffield Hallam University, UK.
WITS - Women in Technology and Science Ireland

Women in Technology and Science (WITS) was inaugurated in November 1990 to actively promote women in science in Ireland.

WRN - Women Returners Network UK WRN is a charity organisation helping women get back to work through offering support and advice on education and training. It organises opportunities for women to network through special events and seminars, and is constantly looking at new ways to meet the challenges that face women returners and employers.
